Korean cuisine is based mainly on steamed rice, vegetables, fish and meat. Traditional Korean meals
are known for a number of delicious side dishes, including (Korean chicken with soy sauce).
How to make Korean chicken with soy sauce:
Ingredients:
- One kilogram of chicken, cut into medium-sized pieces.
- Two potatoes, peeled and cut into medium-sized pieces.
- Two green onions, sliced thin.
- Carrots, cut into medium-sized pieces.
- Describe a large onion, sliced.
- 5 crushed garlic cloves.
- 4 mushrooms, thinly sliced.
- 3 slices of fresh ginger, thinly sliced.
- Two dried hot red peppers.
the sauce:
- Quarter cup of soy sauce.
- Two tablespoons of brown sugar.
- Two tablespoons of oyster sauce.
- Three tablespoons of rice vinegar.
- Two tablespoons of honey.
- A teaspoon of sesame seeds.
- Two teaspoons of sesame oil.
- Quarter teaspoon ground black pepper.
How to prepare:
❶ Put soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, vinegar, honey and black pepper in a bowl, and mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
❷ Place chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, garlic, ginger, and cayenne pepper in a large saucepan over medium heat, and stir for 2 minutes.
❸ Add soy sauce mixture to a boil.
❹ Cover the pot, and simmer for 50-60 minutes, until the chicken and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
❺ Add sesame oil, sesame, green onions, and chicken on a medium heat for five minutes, until the sauce boils a little, and the green onions wilt, put it on a plate with rice and serve it hot.
