 flour, so it spreads and spreads strongly and imposed its presence in The Arab world, even in our

 the modern age and you undoubtedly want to try its wonderful taste, let's start preparing it together? 



the components of zalaabayh:


1-Paste zalaabayh:


*A cup and a half of flour (about 150 grams)

*A quarter of a teaspoon of salt

*Four tablespoons of starch

*a glass of water

*Yellow or orange food coloring, as desired


2-distillation liquid:


*Three cups of sugar about 450 grams

*two cups of water

*tablespoon of lemon juice


Preparation method zalaabayh:


1-How to prepare the dough:


Add the flour, salt, and baking powder to a bowl and mix well, then gradually add the water while

 continuing to mix until it becomes well homogeneous.


Put the dough in a plastic bag and pierce it, or in an empty mayonnaise box (after washing it well) to 

facilitate dripping.

2-Method for preparing the distillation liquid:



Mix water, sugar, and lemon juice well and cook over low heat until boiling. Keep mixing until the 

mixture is light and homogeneous.

Turn off the heat and add yellow or orange food colors as needed, as mentioned above.


3-How to fry zalaabayh:


Heat the frying oil over medium heat until it becomes hot.

We form the dumplings with the liquid dough that we prepared in a circular motion and leave it until it 

rises.

We flip it to the other side to ensure its maturity on both sides, take it out of the oil, and put it 

immediately in the syrup for 3 minutes.

Leave it to cool, then put it in the fridge and serve it whenever you want.
